Spas Are Eco-Friendly, Too
Krystal Bennion asked:
Living in today’s world is synonymous to technology – and, sadly, pollution. Living everyday means contributing to litter that this world is having problems with. Would not it be nice that while you are relaxing and enjoying a treatment to the spa, Mother Nature also takes a break from all pollutants that surround her? Picture this: a place of relaxation with comfortable beds, sumptuous foods and wines, wellness activities and relaxing massage – all made from organic materials. Have a great weekend and at the same time have that “environmental connection” with green spas.
One place worth a visit is the Sundara Inn and Spa in Wisconsin. This spa is committed to their word of offering an eco-friendly facility right from the start. Instead of using clean water to use in construction, they made use of rainwater. Facilities are also energy-saving with the use of low-fuel-emitting-materials flooring. The spa also designed an efficient waste management scheme, with recycling centers scattered around the facility. Sundara’s campaign for greener earth is the best representation on how they promote healthy well-being and a healthy planet as well.
Next stop is El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa in Taos, New Mexico. With garden-paradise theme, this spa offers a relaxing spa weekend. With green campaign in mind, El Monte Sagrado promises you an all-organic retreat from organic uniforms that the staff wears up to soy products and essential oils that they use in spa treatments. With water, energy and green building systems as their fundamentals in caring, this spa is sure to make your stay rejuvenating and rewarding.
The Rancho La Puerta is another spa that supports the campaign for a greener environment. Set in San Diego, California, this facility offers not just eco-friendly treatments but also the majestic view of Mount Kuchumaa. The place is also secluded from the hustles and smokes of rural San Diego as this property does not allow cars. This move is to ensure that the surrounding air stays fresh and clean. Separating from the usual comforts offered by materials things like cars will help you appreciate more the beauty and wonders of environment.
All these spas will not be eco-friendly spas without the use of all organic materials and essential oils. Another thing that adds beauty and attraction to these eco-friendly spas is the soft glow of natural wax candles and all natural candles. They sure make the ambiance becomes more relaxing and comforting.
